Dr. Ken Dillehay

Founder

Dr. Ken Dillehay DDS, MS

“Continually striving to be an excellent orthodontist is my passion. Changing the lives of my wonderful patients through state-of-the-art orthodontics is my goal.”

A Passion for Excellence

Dr. Ken founded Dillehay Orthodontics more than four decades ago with one goal: bring warm, family-focused orthodontic care to the Wichita area. He has since treated thousands of patients — including many who are now bringing their own children to see him.

Education

Dr. Ken Dillehay grew up on a small family farm in Carthage, TN. Following high school at Castle Heights Military Academy, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss).

After college, Dr. Dillehay decided to pursue a career in dentistry and was accepted to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where he studied for four years, earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Dillehay returned to his hometown of Carthage and briefly practiced general dentistry before attending a residency program in the specialty of orthodontics at the University of Tennessee.

Upon completing the residency program, Dr. Dillehay received a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. Through a mentor in dental school, he was connected with a job opportunity in Wichita, Kansas, with Drs. John Rogers and Terry Duncan at 460 North Terrace.
